The Las Vegas Strip Trolley is a privately owned public transportation system that runs up and down the famous Vegas Strip about every 15 minutes or so, looping between the mandalay Bay and the Stratosphere. Fare is exact change. Keep in mind that traffic is always thick and the trolley is fairly slow, especially because it stops at every major hotel on the Strip, as well as the Las Vegas Hilton (a block off the north end of the Strip). So, if you're in a hurry, you might want to find another way to get around.
