Located in the Rio Hotel Casino, Club Rio is the longest running club in town, and is among the best dance clubs of all the casinos. A huge laser-beamed dance floor takes up most of the interior, while video walls, horseshoe-shaped booths and a couple of bars keep non-dancers occupied. The dance tunes range from old-school funk to Madonna to the latest techno. Club Rio has been known to play host to a number of celebrities. Nevertheless, it has its downside as well. For one, there is a strict dress code enforced here, and men pay more both at the door and the bar. Yet this still doesn't seem to balance out the gender ratio. Anyway, if you're an avid club-goer, you're probably used to all the prerequisites and "catches" involved in having a good time, in which case, Club Rio is certainly worth checking out.
