Day:
LAS VEGAS
With just one day
to spend in Las Vegas, there’s no question what to do—hit the
strip. Tackle one of the grand buffets at Mandalay Bay or the Luxor
before you get started. If the kids are with you, after breakfast
head to the north side of the strip and visit the Adventure Dome
inside Circus Circus. There’s also Bungee Jumping across the
street!
Another idea is to
spend your daylight hours by cooling off at Wet ‘N Wild, located
at the north end of the strip. Lunch opportunities are abundant. For
early evening entertainment, catch the Buccaneer Bay Show out front
of Treasure Island. Showtimes are every 90 minutes beginning at 4pm.
Shows are always crowded so get there about 30 minutes early to get
a good spot for viewing.
After
this show head over to the Voodoo Lounge at the Rio. Located on the
51st floor, the Voodoo Lounge patio offers a fantastic
side view of the strip. Get here around sunset. After dark, catch
the volcano show in front of The Mirage, which occurs every half
hour; followed by the fountain show in front of the Bellagio.
Nighttime in Vegas can be a mixture of dance clubs, like the RA (Luxor)
or the Rum Jungle (Mandalay Bay), and plenty of gambling. Good Luck!
