The restaurants in the MGM Grand reads like a Who's Who in cuisine, so the presence of Uber-chef Wolfgang Puck shouldn't surprise you. Very Spago-ish, the café offers Californian nouvelle cuisine such as thin crust pizza, salads and light sandwiches. The food is good, but only occasionally drifts into the outstanding. One such remarkable dish is the Chinois chicken salad that comes with fried wontons, julienned carrots, cabbage, and green onions served in a Chinese honey-mustard sauce. The specialty pizzas are good too, but you wind up spending too much for the Puck name.
