You're going to wish there were more 24-hour diners like the Carson Street Cafe. It has a wide variety of dishes that are all well prepared and tasty. They offer all sorts of salads, burgers, deli sandwiches, breakfast dishes, and entrees such as country fried steak or meatloaf. Nightowls will like the 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. special of an 8-ounce ham steak with eggs, hash browns, and toast. There are also a couple of good items on the dessert menu.
The dining room is beautiful. It overlooks the magnificent lobby and is filled with lush greenery. It's not often a 24-hour café has a décor worth mentioning, but the Carson Street Cafe's interior is outstanding. It's casually elegant and well attended at any hour.
