The Westward Ho Casino & Hotel is located a few steps down the Strip from Circus Circus, across the street from the Riviera. Keep a sharp eye out for this place, for it is easy to miss when cruising the Strip. Instead of building up, the Westward Ho built out. The two story hotel stretches back (away from the Strip) for a quite a distance. In fact it is so expansive, the resort provides a shuttle that runs from the hotel to the casino 24 hours a day. This also gives you an idea of the clientele that generally frequents Westward Ho.
The name "Westard Ho" garners a lot of chuckles and tasteless jokes, but the facility is not all bad. The gaming hall is spacious, with a massive slot area. The Westward Ho plays host to numerous slots tournaments. Crowds are minimal, service is more than sufficient, and hotel rates are affordable. Live entertainment is featured Monday through Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. You won't find the more exotic table games like Baccarat or Let It Ride, but there are plenty of standard games like Blackjack and Craps.
The casino bar offers 99-cent margaritas 24 hours a day.
